Message	I'm sure the experience varys from shop to shop, but my local one has a brand new alignment machine that they are eager to play with. I bought their lifetime alignment. They put it on the rack, got a printout, and came out to chat about how I wanted it dialed in. They made some suggestions about tradeoffs I could make on performance vs. wear and told me to bring it in any time to tune it. The lifetime alignment literature suggests that they don't want you coming in any more often than every 6,000 miles, but these guys had no problem with me coming back after less than 1,000 to have things tweaked a bit.
